Not at all. On Mac, JesType uses Apple Silicon's Neural Engine for fast, efficient transcription. On Windows, it uses your CPU with optimized inference. RAM usage depends on your chosen model — from ~58MB (Moonshine) to ~500MB (Parakeet).
